On the afternoon of November 30th and morning of December 1st, the Youth Union of the school successfully held the 31st Congress of the Communist Youth Union of Central Industrial College for the 2024 – 2027 tenure. The congress was attended by Comrade Vo Duy Kha – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association of the Province. Along with comrades in the Provincial Youth Union Standing Board, leaders of Provincial Youth Union departments. From Mien Trung Industry and Trade College, there was Comrade Tran Kim Quyen – Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the School Council, School Principal; School Leadership Board, grassroots organizations, leaders of departments, faculties, centers, and 120 delegates called from directly affiliated youth union bases.

After two days of democratic and responsible work, the Congress elected the Youth Union Executive Committee of Mien Trung Industry and Trade College for the 31st tenure, 2024 – 2027, consisting of 17 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Tan Kha was elected as the Youth Union School Secretary, and Comrade Nguyen Thi Hung held the position of Deputy Secretary for the 2024 – 2027 tenure.

In his guiding speech, Comrade Vo Duy Kha – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association of Phu Yen Province – highly appreciated the achievements and development of the school’s youth union movement in the past period. Comrade Vo Duy Kha also emphasized the role and prestige of youth union cadres from the Central Industrial College. He called on the school’s youth union cadres to demonstrate qualities, a spirit of unity, and humanity in all activities.

At the Congress, Dr. Tran Kim Quyen, Party Committee Secretary and School Principal, represented the Party Committee Executive Board to send greetings and congratulations. He shared notable achievements of the Youth Union organization and youth movement in the previous tenure, such as student volunteer movements, Youth Creative Movement, and programs supporting students. Dr. Tran Kim Quyen stressed that in the coming period, the Youth Union organization should focus on caring for learners, innovative development, and scientific research.

On behalf of the 31st Executive Committee, Comrade Nguyen Tan Kha – Youth Union School Secretary – received the guidance from Provincial Youth Union leaders, school leadership, and comments from the conference. The Youth Union Executive Committee will continue to deploy youth union work and youth movements effectively and practically, launching more meaningful programs and activities, demonstrating the distinct mark of MITC youth, with the slogan “Unity – Pioneering – Aspiration – Creativity – Development”.
