On the morning of May 9, 2025, Mien Trung Industry and Trade College (MITC) coordinated with UNDP-UNV to organize an online forum on the topic “Sharing Experiences in Maintaining a Green Environment and Environmental Protection,” combined with enhancing English communication skills in an international academic environment. The program was held at Hall B2 – Campus 2, with widespread participation from Youth Union officials, Student Association, class officers, and core students at the school.

The program was a practical activity, helping student officials raise awareness about environmental protection responsibilities in the context of increasingly complex climate change and environmental pollution. At the same time, it was also an opportunity for class officers and Union-Association officials to improve their English skills, enhance communication abilities, and reflexes in international dialogue – an important capability in the integration era.

At the forum, Mr. Clinton Moore (Australian nationality) – Urban climate change expert from the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) shared many real-life stories, good models, and experiences in implementing environmental campaigns in many countries. These contents were not only academic but also suggested many solutions for young people to take practical action for a green planet.

Notably, the exchange and discussion section conducted entirely in English between MITC students and international volunteers was very lively. Many Union-Association officials demonstrated their ability to debate, ask insightful questions, proving the confidence and proactivity of MITC’s student generation.
