We are living in a world where globalization has already fully affected our lives, on the other hand, the global citizenship conception has become so close to young generations not only in developed countries but also in developing ones, including Vietnam. Therefore, arming our students in studying, working, and living harmoniously with people from all over the world by fundamental knowledge and skills of global citizenship education is an essential task. To help our students open their minds and understand their roles as part of our global community in making the world a better place, MITC plans to launch a social impact course – the online global citizenship course – for more than 600 new students at this school year. With its four main sections: sustainable economy, language, peace and conflict, and climate, we hope the course will give our learners a profound insight into what has hugely influenced our lives and how we can address global challenges. Intending to make the program more practical and realistic, we invite international volunteers to design and lecture the course – all of them have earned high qualifications and years of experience in studying, teaching, and working in their fields. Thanks to their knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm, MITC students will be motivated to become global citizens not only responsible for themselves, their country but also for the world.
