On the morning of June 2, at room 204 – Center for Business Incubation and Innovation, Center for Science and Technology Services – Academy of Science, Technology and Innovation in collaboration with MienTrung Industry and Trade organized a seminar to promote the spirit of scientific research and innovation for enterprises and researchers and teachers in Phu Yen province. This is an activity within the A4 Innovation project “MOST Program Coordinator- Aus4Innovation Program” signed between the Center for Science and Technology Services – Academy of Science, Technology and Innovation and the Australian Embassy.

Attending the program were MSc. Tran Vu Tuan Phan – Director of the Center for Science and Technology Services – Academy of Science, Technology and Innovation and comrades in the Center; Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Phu Yen Province, representatives of local departments and agencies. On the side of MienTrung Industry and Trade, there were Dr. Tran Kim Quyen- Chairman of the School Council, Rector; Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc – Vice Rector and Heads of Units and Heads of Departments.

At the seminar, the delegates heard the presentation reports: Promoting the spirit of scientific research, innovation for organizations, small and medium enterprises in Phu Yen province by MSc. Tran Vu Tuan Phan; A number of tools to assess innovation capacity for enterprises from Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung; Project on promoting innovation and capacity building for researchers – MSc. Tran Xuan Bach; Some solutions to improve the quality of science and technology activities of MienTrung Industry and Trade – MSc. Huynh Manh Nhan.
Participants listened to presentations by experts in the field of scientific research and innovation at the program.
Also in the Seminar, the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Phu Yen Province, representatives of local departments, agencies and participants also gave comments and asked questions related to the scientific research work and digital transformation in Phu Yen in particular and Vietnam in general. The majority of delegates agreed to establish a standard framework to evaluate digital transformation work at enterprises and localities.
Representatives of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Phu Yen province, representatives of local departments and agencies and the participants also gave their opinions in the program.
Speaking at the closing of the seminar, Dr. Tran Kim Quyen thanked the Center for Science and Technology Services – Academy of Science and Technology and Innovation for organizing a useful program, especially emphasized in the context of the ongoing 4th Technological Revolution. Currently, scientific research still faces some difficulties in terms of mechanisms and policies, but that is not the biggest barrier. It is important for scientific researchers to be more open and ready to accept new things, thereby coming up with breakthrough ideas and solutions with high practical application, bringing value in the field of science and technology become the physical products in real life.
