MITC – Accompanying with Gen Z to establish a career, start a business

On the morning of May 11, the Youth Union of Phu Yen province coordinated with the MienTrung Industry and Trade College to organize a training course at the Dong Xuan District Political Training Center for more than 120 youth union members and youth in the district to advise, career orientation, self-founding skills, establishing a career and equipping thinking methods and scientific research for union members and young people who are students of high schools in Dong Xuan district.

Overview of the training session on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Skills for Gen Z in Dong Xuan District

This is an activity within the framework of the cooperation program between Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union and the MienTrung Industry and Trade College on “Developing young creative spaces and start-ups and innovation in 2023”. At the beginning of the training program, Dr. Vo Thi My Nga – Expert in the field of consulting and learner service for Gen Z learners – MienTrung Industry and Trade College shared the topic “Gen Z establishes themselves, establishes a career, starts a business”. Dr. Vo Anh Khue – An expert in the field of scientific research and intellectual property also spent time sharing with union members and young people about skills in developing creative thinking in scientific research, scientific creativity and technical study.

At the program, through the topic, the union members and young people were taught by Dr. Vo Thi My Nga – An expert in the field of counseling and taking care of Gen Z learners, evokes the importance of self-positioning, identifying learning motivations, thereby, learning efforts and practice self-cultivation – nurture character, develop yourself every day. The delegation of Le Loi High School, Dong Xuan District Union is the second unit to organize the implementation of the contents within the framework of the cooperation program between the Youth Union of Phu Yen Province and the MienTrung Industry and Trade on “Developing innovation and creative makerspace for Youth students” in 2023. The series of activities under this coordination program will be held in all districts, towns and cities in the province from May 8 to May 29, 2023.

Accordingly, at the program, experts will report on topics on career counseling and orientation; Skills for self-employment and career development; Skills to promote products through social networks; Scientific research thinking, entrepreneurship thinking, innovation; Digital transformation training, encouraging young people to apply digital transformation to production and business activities. Through the program to create conditions to exchange, exchange learning experiences on entrepreneurship skills and training knowledge on entrepreneurship thinking and innovation for union members and youth; Spread the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation to the Youth Union staff, union members and youth in the province in general as well as students of high schools in particular.
