On the afternoon of October 4th, at meeting room B1, campus 1, Mien Trung Industry and Trade College held a meeting to congratulate student Phan Xuan Thin from the Information Technology class 45, who officially became the representative of the school to participate in the ASEAN-Korea vocational education exchange program in Singapore. This event marks not only an important milestone in Thin’s educational journey but also a shared pride for all staff, teachers, and students of the school.
Overview of the Meeting to Congratulate Student Phan Xuan Thin
The ASEAN-Korea Vocational Education Exchange Program is a special initiative aimed at enhancing the quality and vocational skills of students from ASEAN countries through short-term training and international exchanges. The program’s goal is to strengthen competitiveness and prepare students with a solid foundation to become global citizens.
In this year’s third phase of the program, participating students will receive in-depth training in Information Technology in Singapore, one of the world’s most developed technology hubs. Additionally, students will experience an international learning environment, improve their language skills, and expand their networks with international peers.
Attending the program were Ph.D Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc – Deputy Principal of the School; Ms. Tran Thi Dang Tam, academic advisor for the Information Technology class 45; parents of this student; along with esteemed teachers who are heads of relevant departments.

During the meeting, Ph.D Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, Deputy Principal of the school, emphasized in her speech: “The selection of student Phan Xuan Thin to participate in this program is a great honor for our institution. This achievement is the result of the continuous investment and effort of the entire faculty, staff, and students. The school always strives to provide the best conditions for students to develop comprehensively, not only in specialized knowledge but also in soft skills and ethical qualities. We believe that Thin will become an ambassador for our school in Singapore and contribute to enhancing MITC’s reputation on the international stage.”

During the program, the parent of student Phan Xuan Thin expressed heartfelt emotions, stating: “I am truly grateful to the school and the esteemed teachers for providing Thin with the opportunity to participate in the ASEAN-Korea Vocational Education Exchange Program. I hope that the school will further strengthen the connection between families and the institution to create more opportunities for our children to engage in similar programs.” She also added, “I am very proud of my son. His selection for this program is a well-deserved reward for his efforts. We will always be by his side to support him on his journey ahead.”

At the conclusion of the program, M.A Huynh Manh Nhan, head of the Quality Management and Research Department, read the decision appointing student Phan Xuan Thin to participate in the ASEAN-Korea vocational education exchange program. He also congratulated Phan Xuan Thin, wishing him much success in the program, valuable knowledge, and the opportunity to promote the MITC student brand to international friends.
