Mr. Huynh Manh Nhan – Quality Management & Scientific Research on behalf of the MienTrung Industry and Trade College’s delegation reported at the Workshop
The Skills and Knowledge for Inclusive Economic Growth program, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), aims to enhance the training capacity and quality of 16 educational institutions, consisting of 14 prestigious colleges and 2 universities specializing in information technology education. This initiative involves comprehensive investments in training equipment, with the objective of fostering innovation and development among the beneficiary schools. By actively involving disadvantaged groups and the community in vocational education, the program strives to create an inclusive learning environment.
Through the project, the recipient schools aspire to become high-quality institutions within the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system. They aim to establish self-sustaining mechanisms to meet the growing demand for skilled human resources in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This project underscores the significance of adapting to the transformative changes brought about by the Industrial Revolution 4.0, and aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the evolving economic landscape.

The objective is to establish high-quality college-level and intermediate-level training courses that align with international standards. Through this investment, the Central College of Industry and Trade aims to provide students with comprehensive and industry-relevant education, equipping them with the necessary skills to meet global standards and excel in their respective fields.

These occupations include the repair of motorcycles, repair of household electrical appliances, cultivation of edible and medicinal mushrooms, and high-tech cantaloupe production. Notably, MITC is one of the ten selected schools to participate in this program.
The primary beneficiaries of this initiative are disadvantaged groups, which encompass ethnic minority workers, individuals residing in extremely challenging areas, people with disabilities, and women with priority. Through targeted training and job placement or entrepreneurial support, the program aims to enhance the lives of these individuals, empowering them to integrate into society and improve their overall well-being. MienTrung Industry and Trade College is committed to providing quality training and support to equip these beneficiaries with the necessary skills and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
