On the morning of May 19, 2025, at the B2 Auditorium, Campus 2, Mien Trung Industry and Trade College launched the “Teacher-Made Training Equipment” Competition with the theme “Technological Innovation, Enhancing Teaching and Learning Quality.” This is a practical professional platform for faculty members, aimed at encouraging innovation and fostering creativity in designing and manufacturing teaching equipment suitable for vocational training needs.

With the theme “Technological Innovation, Enhancing Teaching and Learning Quality,” the competition provides an opportunity for the entire teaching staff to demonstrate their professional capabilities and promote innovation and creativity in designing and manufacturing teaching equipment that effectively serves teaching and learning activities.

In his opening remarks on the morning of May 19, Mr. Nguyen Van Duc – Vice Principal of the College affirmed: “The competition is not only a professional platform but also a forum for teachers to exchange and learn from experiences and together find effective technological solutions appropriate to practical conditions and specific characteristics of each training discipline at the college.”

This year’s competition attracted participation from all teachers from the various departments and subject divisions within the college. During the two-day event, 18 self-made training models and equipment were presented, evaluated, and reviewed by a professional committee.

On May 19, 15 pieces of equipment were directly presented, explained, and demonstrated by teachers for application in teaching practice. The models covered various fields such as electrical engineering technology, electronics, automation, mechanics, and more. Many equipment items showed high applicability, integrated new technologies, and were easily accessible, helping students visualize processes and operating principles more clearly, thereby enhancing practical skills and creative thinking.

Accordingly, on the morning of May 20, the competition will continue with the remaining 3 models, before proceeding to summarize, evaluate, and award prizes to the most outstanding models. The judging panel highly appreciated the diligence, investment, and dedication of the authors in each product, especially equipment with high integration capabilities that effectively support teaching method innovation.

A representative from the Organizing Committee announced that tomorrow, award-winning equipment will be proposed for widespread application in teaching modules at the college and will also participate in higher-level technical innovation and self-made training equipment competitions.
