On the morning of February 16, 2025, Mien Trung Industry and Trade College was honored to participate in the New Year gathering of the Southern Startup Advisory Council. During the event, the school officially signed a cooperation agreement with the Council to coordinate startup activities in 2025. The event brought together nearly 100 businesses and universities, colleges from across the country, creating opportunities for connection and strong development in the startup field.

From 2018 until now, the school has organized startup competitions not only for students within the school but also attracting participation from many high school students. Notable Achievements of the Southern Startup Advisory Council in 2024

In 2024, members of the Southern Startup Advisory Council contributed more than 9,300 working hours to implement startup support activities. Key programs included training faculty resources on innovative startups, coaching startup project advisory skills, exchanges between entrepreneurs and students, organizing startup competitions for students, along with many other practical activities. These efforts not only help students approach reality but also expand cooperation opportunities between students and businesses.

Innovative Thinking – Core Element in Startups

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Huynh Thanh Van – Chairman of the Southern Startup Advisory Council emphasized that in the context of strong global changes, businesses and organizations need to continuously innovate to adapt to trends. He affirmed: “If we continue to maintain old methods and traditional training approaches, our organization will struggle to exist long-term. For businesses, if they do not innovate, do not apply advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain into production and business activities, it will be very difficult to develop sustainably.”

In addition, he also mentioned the strong changes from central to local levels in promoting innovation, while encouraging businesses and educational institutions to quickly seize opportunities for sustainable development in the digital age.
