This morning, February 15, at Campus 2, Mien Trung Industry and Trade College organized the Tree Planting Festival “Eternal Gratitude to Uncle Ho” for the Spring of the Snake Year 2025, to continue supporting the nationwide movement of joining forces to contribute to planting 1 billion new trees during the 2021-2025 period as initiated by the Prime Minister with the message for a green Vietnam.

Attending the program was Comrade Nguyen Van Duc – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the school; along with all comrades in the Party Executive Committee, School Board, Trade Union Executive Committee, Youth Union, comrades who are leaders of Departments, Faculties, Centers, and staff, employees, and students throughout the school.

Speaking at the ceremony, Teacher Nguyen Van Duc – Vice Principal of the School emphasized: “Over the years, MITC has always maintained and promoted tree planting activities to respond to the Party and State’s policy on building a green – clean – beautiful environment. The Tree Planting Festival is not only a beautiful tradition but also carries practical meaning in raising awareness about environmental protection responsibilities.” At the same time, Teacher Nguyen Van Duc called on all staff, employees, and students of MITC to continue spreading the spirit of green living, joining hands to create a friendly campus landscape, contributing to improving the comprehensive education quality of the school.

Responding to the call, hundreds of green trees were newly planted on the school campus, carrying the message “Planting a green tree, a seed of happiness”. This is not only a meaningful activity at the beginning of the new year but also affirms MITC’s commitment to building a sustainable educational environment, connecting learning with nature protection.

The Tree Planting Festival at MITC is not just an action of sowing green seeds but also cultivating beautiful values for future generations.
