In the morning of April 8th, in hall B2 of campus 2, the MienTrung Industry and Trade College orchestrated a highly successful festival. This event aimed to foster creativity and showcase an array of STEAM products to the students of the Faculty of General Education. Among the esteemed attendees of the festival were notable individuals representing various organizations. Mr. Le Van Son, the Deputy Director of VNSTECH Technology and Services Co., Ltd., and Mr. Nguyen Van Tu, the Director of Mobifone in Phu Yen province, were present on behalf of their respective units accompanying the program. On the side of the School, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, the Vice Rector and Head of the Organizing Committee, and MSc. Vo Hoang Vu, the Dean of the Faculty of General Education and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, graced the event with their presence. Additionally, the deputy heads of the central departments and a multitude of students from Faculty of General Education participated in the festival, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.

During her opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc underscored the significance of the festival as a platform for students and teachers to collaborate, exchange knowledge, and enhance their creativity in developing teaching and learning models within the framework of STEAM. She emphasized that the event not only provided a diverse and captivating learning environment but also exposed students to the latest STEAM projects and technologies, fostering the essential skills required for future success.
Subsequently, Mr. Nguyen Tan Kha, the Secretary of the School Union and a member of the Jury, announced the grading criteria for the showcased products from the students of the Faculty of General Education and Le Loi High School in Dong Xuan district. With over 20 product models exhibited, the festival boasted a rich variety of forms and innovative content. The jury meticulously evaluated the models, considering factors such as technological aspects and practical applications in their assessment process.

Following a thorough evaluation, the jury determined the most outstanding products among the showcased models. The first prize was awarded to the Alpha 45 excellent team for their exemplary product, the Model of electricity generation by magnetic field magnet and DC motor. They received certificates and prestigious awards graciously provided by the sponsor, VNSTECH Technology and Service Co., Ltd.
The second prize was bestowed upon the Line’s Tracking Vehicle model, recognized for its exceptional design and functionality. The BabyBig team’s model of a ship without a number on Vung Ro port secured the third prize, acknowledging their remarkable efforts and ingenuity. Lastly, the Aesthetic team’s Tea table and flowerpot model received the Consolation prize, recognizing their commendable contribution to the festival.
All the winners demonstrated remarkable skill and creativity in their respective projects, showcasing the immense potential of STEAM education.
