On May 6, 2025, Mr. Tran Kim Quyen – Principal of the Mien Trung Industry and Trade College (MITC) visited, encouraged, and checked the preparation progress of the MITC Robocon team ahead of the 2025 Vietnam Robot Creation Competition.

During the meeting, Mr. Tran Kim Quyen directly discussed with team members about the progress of robot completion, health conditions, as well as preparations for the upcoming competition journey. He acknowledged the effort, team spirit, and creativity of students throughout the research and robot manufacturing process. At the same time, he also wished the team to remain steadfast and confident in order to achieve the highest results.

This year’s MITC Robocon team consists of two teams: MITC – RISE and MITC – CDT, with members from various departments such as Mechanics, Electrical – Automation, and Information Technology – Economics. Both teams are in the final sprint, completing the last adjustments before officially departing for the competition in Ninh Binh province in early June.

Dr. Tran Kim Quyen’s visit not only provided strong motivation for the team members but also demonstrated the deep concern of the Board of Directors and all MITC staff for students’ research and creative activities. With the accompaniment and support from the school, the MITC Robocon team is full of determination, ready to conquer challenges and make their mark at the 2025 Vietnam Robot Competition arena.
