On the morning of October 16, at the B2 hall, Brand 2, the MITC Training and International Cooperation Center in collaboration with WISE English Center organized an English extracurricular activity with the theme “English Icebreakers – Cultural Inclusiveness”. The program was attended by Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc – Vice Rector of the College, representatives from WISE English Center, and nearly 200 students from the Mien Trung Industry and Trade College (MITC).

At the beginning of the program, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc – Vice Rector of the College, delivered an opening speech, emphasizing the importance of English communication skills in the context of international integration and the role of foreign language learning in the digital age.

The program continued with content sharing and guiding students on effective methods for pronunciation practice, vocabulary learning, and speaking skills. Experts from WISE English Center provided rich learning resources suitable for each level, helping students access more modern and effective learning methods.

Additionally, students had the opportunity to practice speaking through group activities, directly applying the methods they had learned, thereby improving their English communication skills in a practical environment. The Q&A session with experts brought valuable information, helping students solve difficulties in their English learning process.

One of the highlights of the program was the quick question and answer section, where students competed vigorously to win attractive prizes from the organizers. Moreover, they were challenged with various English tasks, sparking creativity and quick reflexes in communication.

At the event, the MITC English and Skills Club (MES CLUB) – Training and International Cooperation Center specially honored students with outstanding achievements in Club activities for the 2023-2024 academic year, and also organized a lucky draw with many valuable prizes for students participating in the Program.
The extracurricular activity concluded with much useful knowledge and memorable experiences, contributing to promoting the spirit of English learning and cultural connection within the MITC student community.
