On November 20th, a day honoring the silent navigators of knowledge, Mien Trung Industry and Trade College (MITC) welcomed the occasion with a vibrant and meaningful artistic performance. The 2024 Singing Competition for Officials, Employees, and Students was not just a simple commemoration, but a beautiful milestone that highlighted the spirit of unity and deep gratitude within the MITC community, especially in the context of celebrating the school’s 46th founding anniversary (1978-2024) and the 42nd Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (1982-2024).
From the beginning of October, an atmosphere of excitement spread throughout the school. The Union Executive Board initiated an artistic training movement, creating opportunities for various units to prepare. The enthusiastic response from teachers, officials, employees, and students created a colorful picture, promising an impressive performance. 16 units registered to participate, with 14 competition items that were not just a contest, but an opportunity to demonstrate connection and warm affection within the MITC family.

The performance night on November 18th took place in an energetic and emotional atmosphere. The Union Vice President, M.S Do Thi Thanh Lan, in her opening speech, affirmed the great significance of the competition: honoring the contributions of teachers, officials, and employees, while simultaneously promoting a spirit of unity and creating a dynamic work and learning environment. The theme “Connected with Love – MITC Teachers and Students Navigating the Waves” cleverly expressed the goal: to build a healthy and beneficial platform, creating conditions for exchange, learning, and strengthening emotional bonds.
Performance items participating in the 2024 Officials, Employees, and Students Singing Competition
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to outstanding performances. The first prize went to the “Mashup of Vietnamese Land’s Eternal Echo – Vietnamese Spirit” item, featuring a remarkable collaboration between teachers from the Mechanical Engineering Faculty and officials from various Centers. The second prize was awarded to the IT and Economics Faculty for their humorous yet meaningful performance and dance “Naughty Classroom”. The third prize went to the International Training and Cooperation Center with the performance “Flood Rescue”, carrying a profound humanitarian message, featuring participation from the English Club students. Four encouragement prizes were also awarded, demonstrating fairness and acknowledging the efforts of all contestants.

Most importantly, the competition was a profound tribute to the teachers who have dedicated themselves to the educational cause.
