With this year’s theme: “Technology Innovation, Enhancing Teaching and Learning Quality”, the faculty in the Department are not simply manufacturing equipment, but also imbuing it with the breath of modern technology, practical connections, and a firm belief in innovating teaching methods in vocational education.
From smart electrical control system models, automation in production, to sensor simulation devices, PLC programming, robots… everything is being formed day by day with dedication, in-depth knowledge, and a high sense of responsibility.
The Contest is Not Just a Competition – It’s a Journey of Educational Thinking Innovation

For the Department of Electrical and Automation, the contest is a creative journey, where each device is evidence of the message: “A teacher who never stops creating is a teacher who never stops leading the future.”
The atmosphere in the practice rooms these days is as lively as a knowledge creation workshop. There, each chip, circuit board, and small material carries a special mission – to inspire learning and motivate students to reach further on their journey of knowledge.
Toward the Commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh’s Birthday – Shining the Spirit of Learning and Dedication
The Self-Made Training Equipment Contest 2025 takes place on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025) – the great leader who always emphasized the role of education and considered “learning as the key to opening the door to the nation’s future.” Uncle Ho’s saying “No matter how difficult, we must compete to teach well – learn well” is a guiding torch for educators to continuously innovate and create.
The contest will be held at 7 AM on May 19, 2025, at Hall B2 – Campus 2, Central College of Industry and Trade. There, the equipment will be displayed, explained, and evaluated impartially; the most outstanding ideas will be honored and awarded, contributing to spreading the spirit of innovation and improving the quality of vocational education.
Honoring Creativity – Spreading the Value of Educational Innovation
The award-winning devices will not only receive certificates and prizes but will also be recognized as scientific research works, marking a new step in the professional journey of the lecturers.
