Huynh Y shares that: “each place visited brings indescribable emotions, the nostalgia for the contributions of ancestors at Luong Van Chanh temple, the national pride swelling when standing on Nui Nhan watching the red flag with yellow star fluttering in the wind, and the emotional silence before stories about supply ships for the South at the No-Number Ships historical site. Huynh Y felt national pride seeping into his heart and urging himself to try harder each day, turning gratitude into practical action. It was also this trip that provided additional motivation to study well, improve skills to be useful in future work, not disappointing the previous generations.”
“Going through those places, I appreciate current life even more and feel the need to live and study well to be worthy of what previous generations have built,” Y confides.
Choosing a Career with Passion, Achieving Success through Perseverance

Being someone who enjoys work requiring precision and patience, Huynh Y chose to study Metal Cutting with great interest. He always considers mastering theory and striving to improve skills every day as two “golden keys” to achieve good results.
From being meticulous in how to hold tools, adjust machines, to listening to every small sound from equipment to recognize whether operation is smooth – for Huynh Y, every detail is worth learning. “There are many times when I feel discouraged, but whenever I think about those who came before and sacrificed their youth for the country, I gain more strength to try bit by bit. Thanks to that, I was fortunate to achieve the title of excellent student in the metal cutting class,” Huynh Y shares with a gentle smile.
Thanks to his optimistic demeanor and daily practice habits, Huynh Y regularly receives academic scholarships each semester, not missing any opportunity. Additionally, he actively participates in school activities, both to accumulate life experiences and enrich necessary soft skills for the future.
