When language serves as a global bridge, proficient English is not just a skill but a key to unlocking broader opportunities. However, for many students, English remains a significant barrier, causing communication insecurities and causing them to miss valuable opportunities in academic and professional pursuits. Facing this challenge, many young people seek inspiration, motivation, and effective learning methods.
Overview of the workshop: “Igniting your English – Reaching Out to the World”
The journey of student Phan Xuan Thin – from IT College Class 45 – is a vivid testament to positive change through English. From a student from a provincial area, Thin boldly stepped into the world by participating in the ASEAN-Korea Vocational Education program in Singapore. Throughout his study abroad, Thin not only refined his language skills but also connected with international friends, expanded his horizons, and confidently embraced new opportunities.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, Vice Rector of the School, speaking at the Program
Notably, beyond Phan Xuan Thin, MITC is proud of many students with outstanding English skills, winning provincial and regional awards, continuing to create a resounding reputation for the school. These changes highlight the importance of learning English in shaping future perspectives and building careers.
During the program, students listened to sharing from Phan Xuan Thin and Mr. Nguyen Trung Hoa about effective English learning methods
These successes are not coincidental. MITC has continuously invested in language development activities for students, such as English courses, international exchange programs, and inspiring events like the Workshop “Igniting your English – Reaching Out to the World” recently held on November 30th.
Mr. Muhammad Haziq from Brunei also shared effective English learning methods from his personal experience online
At the event, MITC students listened to sharing from Muhammad Haziq from Brunei about effective English learning methods from personal experience. MITC students also participated in lively interactive game shows and, most importantly, received practical advice to boost their confidence on their English learning journey.
Students also exchanged and shared English learning methods
In the coming period, the school will further enhance international exchange programs, expand English academic exchanges, create conditions for students to engage with global learning environments, and simultaneously encourage and support students with language potential by providing opportunities for further development in the future.
