Born in 2004, Thinh currently lives with his younger brother, who is in 10th grade, in a small house in My Quang fishing village (An Chan commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province). Despite having to play the role of both brother and guardian in life, Thinh remains diligent and ambitious in his studies. Teachers and friends at Le Thanh Phuong High School and MITC all describe Thinh as a gentle but responsible and determined student.

Not only diligent in his studies, Thinh also works part-time outside of school hours to cover his living expenses and share the burden of life with his family. What’s remarkable is that despite being busy, Thinh always attends classes regularly and completes his academic tasks well. It’s his disciplined spirit and persistence that have helped him overcome life’s challenges.

Thinh chose Mechanical Engineering because of his passion and interest in creative and technical work. He shares that this is not just a field of study, but a dream he’s always pursued, wanting to eventually stand on his own feet and help his younger brother have a better future.

MITC’s support, especially the policy of 100% tuition fee exemption for students in difficult circumstances who have lost both parents, has provided great motivation for Thinh on his journey to pursue knowledge. This has allowed him to focus on learning and developing professional skills without worrying too much about financial burdens.

During his recent internship at a company, Thinh proved that his learning efforts were not in vain. The solid knowledge and skills trained at school helped him quickly adapt and successfully complete assigned tasks.

Bui Xuan Thinh’s story is not just a lesson about willpower, but also conveys the message that: “Regardless of where we start, with effort, we can all achieve good things.”

With MITC’s support and his spirit of constant striving, Thinh continues to write his dream – a meaningful dream that brightens the future and strongly inspires other students.
