Every student faces many challenges when entering a new learning environment: From being someone who was shy about communication and afraid of crowds. For Kha Han, these challenges didn’t hold her back. She chose to face all difficulties with an optimistic attitude and determination. Han has changed dramatically during her training and learning process, not only achieving significant accomplishments but also breaking through personal barriers to become confident and bold in front of crowds. Through persistence and a continuous learning spirit, Kha Han quickly adapted to the new learning environment, gradually mastering necessary subjects and skills.
Right from her first year, Kha Han didn’t hesitate to try her hand at scientific research for students at the faculty level. This is a field that requires creativity, patience, and critical thinking ability. Participating in scientific research not only helped her enhance professional knowledge but also affirmed her never-ending learning spirit. The result of those efforts is recognition from lecturers and friends. Kha Han’s research has helped inspire passion in graphic design and motivated her classmates to follow.

Not only excelling in studies, but Kha Han also actively participates in faculty art activities. On Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20), she participated in the celebration performance program with an impressive show. Through this event, Kha Han not only demonstrated her artistic talent but also expressed deep gratitude to the teachers who guided her on her learning journey. The warm applause from the audience was a worthy reward for her dedication.
Besides artistic activities, Kha Han is also an active athlete in the faculty’s women’s volleyball team, participating in sports events celebrating November 20. With high team spirit and continuous effort, her team played impressively, bringing pride to the entire faculty. Sports not only helps Kha Han maintain physical fitness but also helps her learn team coordination, face pressure, and maintain persistence in all circumstances. These are necessary qualities not only in sports but also in life and studies.

One of the most notable highlights in Kha Han’s journey was when she participated in the communication contest “Learning about the movement of all people protecting homeland security; preventing crime and social evils among students” and excellently won third prize. The contest was not only a place to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of security and order but also an opportunity for Kha Han to spread positive messages to other students. This award recognizes her seriousness, sense of responsibility, and social awareness in building a safe, healthy learning environment.
Kha Han shares: “Speaking of difficulties, I find myself quite shy, somewhat withdrawn, with poor communication skills.
I saw participation as a way to practice my communication skills. She also wants to be a bit more confident and try to interact more with people. Han still feels I haven’t really escaped my previous shadow, but thanks to these activities, I’ve gradually opened up a bit, no longer as restricted as before. Participating is also a way for me to better understand myself and those around me, while gaining more experience, learning more, and growing up.
If you’re a student at school with a personality similar to mine, you should consider trying to participate in activities as a way to train yourself to gradually lose self-doubt. It might be quite difficult at first, but I think you should try it once as an experience for yourself.”
The achievements that Le Hoang Kha Han has attained in her first year of college are not only her personal pride but also a bright example for other students. From Kha Han’s story, we can draw many valuable lessons:
Spirit of overcoming difficulties: Kha Han has proved that even when stepping into a completely new environment, anyone can overcome difficulties with determination.
Balance between study and extracurricular activities: Success comes not only from studying but also from participating in social activities, where soft skills are trained and relationships are expanded.
