These days, online training has become more and more important and common in education, gradually changing traditional training models and methods to approach knowledge among pupils and students. It also makes the study more interesting, engaging, and persuasive. Learners have different ways to access a wide variety of learning resources, and they have the right to choose the most appropriate form of learning based on their competence and backgrounds. Therefore, they could be able to manage their learning progress.

According to the strategic plan for the development of Mien Trung College of Industry and Trade in the period 2017-2022 with a vision to 2035 and the direction of The General Department of Vocational Education about the application of information technology in management and training, the school has implemented online training for vocational and college levels since the pandemic began. In addition to achieved results, there are also disadvantages and limitations we need to deal with to make it more effective at the college.
On August 31, MITC held a Conference for improving the quality of online learning and teaching 2021. At the event, the lecturers gave various comments and ideas for improving distance education more effectively. These included fastly completing the LMS system and App management, organizing appropriate training courses for the lecturers, selecting well-experienced lecturers, supervising and assessing lectures, applying information technology to prepare multimedia lectures, and cooperating with computer distributors to provide students with price supports.

During the conference, the lecturers also shared different valuable teaching methods and experiences to cope with problems occurring in their remote teaching process to enhance the training quality as much as possible.
Online training has changed the way we teach and learn based on novel criteria such as: learning anywhere, learning anytime, learning for life, teaching everyone, and teaching all different levels. Thus, it plays a crucial role in meeting all learning requirements, especially in building a lifelong learning society.
