On the morning of September first, the online graduation ceremony for K41college students and K42 vocational students is solemnly held at Hall B2, Campus 2, Mien Trung Industry and Trade College. It is the first time MITC has applied robotics in replacing students to receive diplomas to comply with local pandemic prevention in Phu Yen province. Before the 4th wave of the COVID -19 pandemic broke out in Viet Nam, the college had directly held the first graduation ceremony for 500 students.

The attendees included Dr. Tran Kim Quyen, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council, Rector; the college administrators; representatives of local press agencies; MITC’s lecturers; and nearly 200 graduates participating in the event online.
Applying robots to receive diplomas is a creative idea of MITC’s STEAM club. The student–sized robots were dressed in caps and gowns for the graduation ceremony. Besides, a digital tablet was attached to its head to show the faces of the graduates attending the event via MS Team video calls.

At the Ceremony, Master. Huynh Manh Nhan, Head of Training Management Department, presented 150 K41 college students and 36 K42 vocational ones for graduation. Among them, two college students and one vocational learner earned excellent diplomas, while other 33 college students and four vocational graduates received high distinction diplomas.
We want to say that this graduation ceremony marks a very crucial milestone for the new graduates, who officially become engineers and bachelors. And they can instantly start their careers, contributing to building the country more beautiful and prosperous. We would also like to congratulate the teachers and students for their non-stop efforts in applying innovative technology to improve training quality and student care services.
